"We just had the most splendid time at VillaSong. We stayed 5 nights and wished we could have stayed much longer. It was just magical to be so close to the vibrant city centre (max 30 min by taxi)and yet in a totally peaceful, beautiful, green envirentment, by the Saigon river. Our room had a balcony overlooking the river, we had beautiful sunrise there every morning, in silence with only the chirping of birds. And just looking at boats going by. Really wonderful. The villa in itself has retained all its charm and is beautifully decorated. And the staff (every single one of them) is very amicable, proférions les, and at the same time there is almost a family feel. One feels at home at Villa song. Needless to say, we highly recommend it, and look forward to come back. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so unforgettable."

"Last week, we came here to enjoy lunch by the river. Lucky it was after heavy rain, the weather was very comfortable for us to sit outside. The server introduced the big brunch for us and it was nice and only 350k - a reasonable price with the portion. The drinks just we ordered juice and coffee, not much to tell but staff, he was very nice to us, he helped us when we have kids who wanted to run around. The view is nice and good jazz music to have relaxing day with family. Will be back again!"

"In previous visits to HCMC, I had always stayed in District 1, which was super convenient location-wise. But after discovering some nice restaurants in District 2, I decided to try staying there for more peace and quiet. Villa Song Saigon was perfect in that regard. At first, I just booked 1 night, in case I decided to go back to District 1. But after thoroughly enjoying the hotel that first night, I ended up booking my entire stay there (4 nights). The building itself is gorgeous, a colonial style mansion with 3 floors. If you appreciate the charm of an old luxury boutique hotel, this place will not disappoint, with dark wood floors, high ceilings with custom woodwork and balconies overlooking the pool or river. I stayed in a Sanctuary Room. It wasn't too big (32 sq m) but had everything I needed, including a nice workspace for my laptop. Getting to District 1 is around a 20-30 minute Grab ride, depending on traffic. The most i ever waited for a Grab was around 3 minutes, so not a problem getting transportation from here at all. During the day, they operate a free boat shuttle, which will drop you off right in the heart of District 1 in only 15 minutes. You just need to schedule it in advance (usually 1 hour). Free breakfast on the river every morning was a great way to start each day, and live music at the restaurant weekend nights (F,S,S) was also a nice touch if you don't feel like venturing out. Being that District 2 is more upscale (and has a large ex-pat community), there is a wide variety of nice restaurants and bars within a 15 minute walk or 5 minute Grab ride. Kudos to the staff for making my stay so enjoyable. I'll be back!"

"A beautiful space for tranquility yet very close to the city center Villa Song Saigon was a true pleasure and we highly recommend it! Nestled amidst beautiful vegetation and right on the Saigon River, it was the perfect place to retreat from the hustle and bustle of the big city yet super easy to reach - also thanks to the hotel’s speedboat which was a lovely way to get to the city center. Our room which overlooked the river was perfect and I also need to say that the bed was soooo comfortable. Breakfast on the river was also lovely. Last but not least: The hotel staff were top notch, super helpful and also very accommodating to some special requests (such as storing luggage for us prior to our stay as we went on a Mekong Delta excursion that didn’t allow us to take much luggage). We would highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again."

"We did our wedding at Villa Song on 2nd April 2023. Our family and friends also stayed there. Everyone absolutely enjoyed the stay. I could not find even one negative comment because everything was perfect, from the swimming pool, the room, the food, the services and the staff. Our family and friends find the staff professional, skilful, smiley and welcoming. My father-in-law felt well taken care of by the team and enjoyed good conversations with them. The boat experience was lovely. The swimming pool is a great size to swim and is kept very clean. The decoration of the hotel and the room is a beautiful touch of Vietnamese culture through lovely paintings and furniture. The food has great options for Vietnamese and Western cuisines. Every dish we tried was tasty and well-presented. The hotel bar has a quite decent wine selection, especially red and white wine, but not many choices for rosé wine from France. My mother-in-law tried the rosé wine from Italy and Portugal but was not much keen on it. We had an amazing wedding and a lovely stay at Villa Song. We are utterly thankful to all the staff and the manager for doing their best to make our special day and our stay so wonderful and memorable. Thank you!"
